Autotalks has tapped proteanTecs to provide predictive electronics monitoring for its 5G cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) communication chipsets. proteanTecs’ cloud and edge analytics offer actionable insights and predictive data about the Autotek Tekton3 and Secton3 chipsets’ performance and quality, during production and in lifetime usage.

The third-generation Tekton3 and Secton3 devices are designed to support all upcoming V2X requirements and support 5G V2X for Day 2 scenarios. Day 1 V2X offers life-saving situational awareness alerts. Day 2 V2X applications can use sensor data shared by other vehicles and enable critical actions, such as automatic braking. Both devices embed Day 1 and Day 2 radios operating concurrently, as well as V2X ultra-low-latency hardware security modules (eHSM). Additionally, systems based on these V2X chips can achieve ISO 26262 ASIL B functional safety certification.
