Four bike and component companies are committed to launching ZooZ 2 pilots, and two vehicle manufacturers (OEMs) are about to start validation tests of the new micro-mobility device, which is set to prevent accidents involving electric and non-electric bikes and scooters at intersections. Autotalks’ device, running Commsignia V2X stack, was successfully used to demonstrate the protection of vulnerable road users as part of the Project SECUR, a European industrial consortium which develops V2X test protocols for Euro NCAP (New Car Assessment Program).
