Your worry is justified. Cycling presents the highest risk, with approximately 45% of fatalities occurring among those over 65, despite the relatively low numbers of people in this age group who cycle. The second most dangerous action is walking, with about 36% of pedestrian fatalities occurring in this age group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, we must consider fatalities caused by drivers over 65. In the U.S.,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/injuryfacts.nsc.org\/motor-vehicle\/road-users\/older-drivers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) data<\/a>\u00a0shows that the majority of people killed in traffic crashes involving older drivers are aged 65 or over.
